Kids' Church:
Sunday 12:45pm
A group of kids, up to age 13, stumble like zombies with their eyes closed, walking around the room.

"What being able to see in darkness have to do with being a Christian?" Kids' Church Director, Yana Kagadiy, asks her pupils.

"Because Jesus is the light." A young girl with eager, wide-eyes responds.

Kids' Church at New Life is a respected ministry; how a child is raised in faith will affect how he or she lives in adulthood.

"I want them (the students) to get used to reading the bible and praying everyday starting from a young age," Sushchik expresses what she wants her students to take away from New Life. "Hopefully they will continue when they are older."

Kids' Church also helps teach the importance of serving God in other ways. For example, the kids are given rewards for helping clean the church and bringing friends.

Each service the kids are taught an easier-to-understand lesson that is still essential to know in understanding and serving God. During XOXO, New Life Church will be discussing the more mature, physical aspect of love; New Life kids will be studying God's passionate love for His children.

It is evident the students are accepting the lessons. As Sushchik begins the service, she asks, "What do we do before we start every day?"

The students cannot respond fast enough as they say eagerly, in unison: Pray!
